Can-Am Spyder and Ryker's Ride
In order to raise funds for ovarian cancer research, the Can-Am Spyder and Ryker’s Ride rides allow participants to travel the roads of Quebec to discover regions that offer beautiful scenery. Since 2022, the rides are now organized by various Spyder and Ryker clubs across Quebec and they donate a portion of their profits to the Montreal Cancer Institute.
Spyders and Rykers blessing
With the participation of several local clubs, the Spyder and Ryker Club of the Laurentians invite all enthusiasts to take part in their “The Blessing of the Spyders and Rykers” hike. This special event will take place directly on the site of the Shrine of Lourdes de Rigaud, which will be specially opened for our event. Participants are expected to be on site by 11:00 a.m. On site, a BBQ will be served and all proceeds from the dinner will be donated to the Montreal Cancer Institute.
After the meal and presentation to the Institute of Donated Material, participants can have their Spyder or Ryker blessed. Afterwards, a small group hike will be organized to end the day.

Rallye Défi Can-Am Spyder
Born from the marriage of two events, Rallye Défi Can-Am Spyder was created in 2013. This initiative of Pierre Riendeau, Manon d’Amours, Johanne Marcoux and Luc Riendeau brings together Can-Am Spyder enthusiasts and lovers for a ride in various regions of Quebec.
Over the past few years, Johanne Marcoux and the Rallye Défi Can-Am Spyder team have organized several rally-rides per year, always with the objective of raising funds for ovarian cancer research. Over $260,000 has been raised over the years for the cause, allowing research teams to continue their research into ovarian cancer.
In 2022, Johanne Marcoux, Luc Riendeau and their team have decided to pass on the torch of this fundraising event. Thus, a new formula is proposed to Can-Am Spyder and Ryker enthusiasts who wish to participate in the benefit rides. Organized from now on by the Can-Am Spyder and Ryker clubs throughout Quebec, the rides will be posted on the Institute’s website and on the clubs’ respective platforms.
