Rallye Challenge Can-Am Spyder

Johanne Marcoux and the Rallye Défi Can-Am Spyder team are organizing rally hikes to raise funds to help ovary cancer research. At the head of this research: the team of Dr. Diane Provencher, researcher member at the Institute.

In addition to riding for a good cause, the owners of the Can-Am Spyder roadster who participate in these fundraising hikes have the opportunity to explore the roads of Quebec, regions that offer magnificent landscapes.

SCHEDULE OF THE DAY |

  • Depart Beloeil from the left side of the parking lot of Bureau en Gros at 180 rue Serge-Pepin in Beloeil (exit 112 from highway 20) at 7:30 a.m.
    • Departure: 7:30 a.m. from Bureau en Gros de Beloeil (exit 112 from highway 20)
      • Departure of all teams at 1 or 2 minute intervals, as in the past
    • Journey: 127 km (about 1 hour 20 minutes – motorway)
    • Break in Bécancour ( maximum of 20 minutes )
      • Possibility to fill up with gasoline
    • Journey: 49.5 km (about 35 minutes – motorway and secondary road)
    • Break at Grand-Mère ( maximum of 15 minutes )
      • Gasoline for rykers and spyders that have 998 engines
    • Arrival at the Park around 10:35 a.m.
      • Stops at various lookouts
      • Different places to have a picnic
      • Draws and attendance prizes at 2:10 p.m. at Lac Esker . This is the place where Team 1 will eat (toilets, picnic and swimming tables + low traffic parking = lots of places available)
      • Departure from Lac Esker around 2:20 p.m. in order to be out of the park around 2:30 p.m.
    • Journey: 40 km (about 50 minutes)
    • Mini stop for a photo in Saint-Élie-de-Caxton (about 10 minutes)
    • Journey: 39.5 km (about 40 minutes)
    • Break or snack at Maskinongé (about 35 minutes)
      • At everyone’s expense
    • Journey: 57.3 km (about 1 hour)
    • Official end of the hike around 6 p.m. at the Tim Hortons in Saint-Sulpice.
