History

Rallye Défi Can-Am Spyder

Born from the marriage of two events, Rallye Défi Can-Am Spyder was created in 2013. This initiative of Pierre Riendeau, Manon d’Amours, Johanne Marcoux and Luc Riendeau brings together Can-Am Spyder enthusiasts and lovers for a ride in various regions of Quebec.

Over the past few years, Johanne Marcoux and the Rallye Défi Can-Am Spyder team have organized several rally-rides per year, always with the objective of raising funds for ovarian cancer research. Over $260,000 has been raised over the years for the cause, allowing research teams to continue their research into ovarian cancer.

In 2022, Johanne Marcoux, Luc Riendeau and their team have decided to pass on the torch of this fundraising event. Thus, a new formula is proposed to Can-Am Spyder and Ryker enthusiasts who wish to participate in the benefit rides. Organized from now on by the Can-Am Spyder and Ryker clubs throughout Quebec, the rides will be posted on the Institute’s website and on the clubs’ respective platforms.
