Biography

Dr. Gerardo Ferbeyre graduated from medical school at the University of Havana, Cuba. He then obtained a Ph.D. from the Université de Montréal in 1996. He was a postdoctoral researcher in New York at the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory where he discovered new mechanisms of tumor suppression. His laboratory is interested in cell signaling and cancer and in the discovery of new anti-cancer therapies.
