Research Angle

  • Dr. Bahig specializes in the treatment of ENT and lung cancers, with an interest in the development of pragmatic clinical trials evaluating new technological approaches to personalize radiation therapy treatments. She is working on the development of algorithms using artificial intelligence to predict response and side effects of ENT and lung radiation therapy.

Biography

After completing medical school in 2011 at McGill University, she completed a residency in radiation oncology at the Université de Montréal and a PhD in biomedical sciences focused on the integration of novel imaging methods in radiation therapy planning. She then pursued additional training in clinical research at MD Anderson Cancer Center, with a particular interest in magnetic resonance-guided radiation therapy of the head and neck.
