Institute researchers win $ 1 million over 5 years from the Canadian Institute for Health Research (CIHR) in the “Spring 2020 Projects” competition.

The funded project aims to develop new strategies to improve the effectiveness of treatment options for ovarian cancer, one of the deadliest cancers in women. The researchers involved are Francis Rodier, Dre Diane Provencher and Thomas Gervais, all researchers at the Institute.

This grant was obtained in part for the work carried out with the real-time imaging platform in the laboratories of the Institute, including devices whose purchase was exclusively financed by our foundation.

Congratulations to the Institute’s research teams who are working very hard to advance cancer treatments!
